Product Care Guide
Proper storage and handling can help beads, charms, findings, chains, and finished projects maintain their appearance.
General Care
- Keep products dry and avoid prolonged exposure to water, sweat, perfume, cosmetics, cleaning products, and other chemicals.
- Remove jewelry before bathing, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.
- Handle small, delicate, coated, painted, or plated components carefully.
- Wipe gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth after use.
Storage
- Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.
- Keep different materials and colors in separate bags or compartments.
- Close chains and lay them flat to reduce tangling.
- Keep sharp or heavy components away from delicate surfaces.
Cleaning
Use a soft, dry cloth unless the product page provides different instructions. Do not use abrasive cloths, ultrasonic cleaners, alcohol, bleach, strong detergents, or jewelry dips unless you have confirmed that they are suitable for the specific material.
Color and Finish
Coatings, plating, paint, and special finishes may gradually change with friction, moisture, chemicals, or normal use. Careful handling and dry storage help slow this process.
Safety
Small components may present a choking hazard. Keep them away from young children and pets. Craft components are not toys and should be used with appropriate supervision and tools.
